Queer Space and The Sphere are two connected queer events taking place on 22 May 2027 at the Maassilo in Rotterdam.

Together, they bring different forms of music, performance, nightlife and community into one shared experience — moving from daytime connection into nightlife after dark.

Queer Space

Queer Space is the daytime part of the event: a queer festival focused on music, performance, social spaces and community. Throughout the day, visitors can explore different atmospheres, meet others and experience a programme shaped by expression, creativity and connection.

The Sphere

As day turns into night, The Sphere transforms the Maassilo into a multi-area queer nightlife experience. Across four distinct areas, the night moves between dance, performance, fetish-inspired environments, social spaces and places to slow down and unwind.

One Shared Experience

While both events have their own atmosphere and identity, they are designed to complement one another — bringing together different people, energies and forms of expression within one iconic venue.
